My name is Heather Rosewarne and I am the Assistant Director at GPS. My background includes two decades of direct patient care as a labor and delivery and postpartum nurse. Pregnancy, birth and postpartum are complex, vulnerable times and I’m honored to play a role in supporting the mission of GPS.
I started my career as a doula with Spanish-speaking mothers and saw the ways that immigrant families are often excluded from healthcare conversations. During my years at Group Health and Swedish, I had the privilege of taking care of countless East African families as well as immigrant and refugee women from around the globe. I am passionate about perinatal mental health and the extra support that birthing people and families need during the postpartum period.
In my spare time I enjoy gardening, yoga, watching my kids at basketball and soccer games and time with family and friends.

My name is Dakota Greathouse. I am the office administrator at Global Midwifery Services. I wanted an all natural in home birth. Having reached out to a general OBGYN I expressed my desires of this and this is where my little family’s journey began. She gave me the name of a clinic that would forever change our lives. From my very 1st conversation with Faisa, my Midwife & my very necessary doula Janay, I knew this journey was going to be meaningful, educational, and memorable. As a 1st time mother there are so many hills & valleys. Faisa and her team were right beside us taking the ride with us, answering every question and finding answers to the ones that seemed far fetched. Fast forward to September 7th the day our baby girl entered the world surrounded by so much love and support that was provided by Faisa and her amazing team and our family members. Never once did I have any unnecessary worry, doubt, or stress about my care or my babies care. My partner and my mom were able to play important roles throughout the entire birth. Fast forward to today. My belief in what Faisa and her amazing team provide the community is so strong that I am now employed with them as the “Office Administrator.” It has been such a positive journey to be on both sides of the street. I look forward to serving you in any way I can to help make this very powerful journey a memorable one.
My name is Taylor Kaminski, the GPS Doula Certification Coordinator, Birth Doula and Lactation Specialist. Working with GPS has given me the opportunity to contribute in multiple roles within the organization, which I greatly appreciate. Being a doula has truly given me purpose, as I love supporting mothers and their babies during pregnancy, birth, and through the postpartum period as well. Being there during this special time truly gives me life and has been one of the greatest joys of my journey! I started off in early childhood education for many years until I was introduced to doula work through my own midwife. I am so grateful to do this work and to help the communities in need. I have a passion for and thrive on advocating for holistic health, natural birthing, and breastfeeding and sharing this knowledge with as many people as I can.
In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, being in nature, watching documentaries and researching places around the world, great authentic international cuisine, music and dancing, going to concerts, and living a vegan lifestyle.
